More About TANG
TANG (Technical Assistance Negotiated Grant) is funded by the
Library Services Technology Act through a grant from the Institute
of Museum and Library Services. The purpose of TANG is to
provide public libraries with technical assistance. Emergency
Technical Assistance is a project that was developed to assist
libraries without technical support or IT departments.
ETS can be used to pay for on-site repair or computer
troubleshooting. It is not the purpose of this grant to
provide funds to purchase computers, monitors and printers as a
means for an overall network upgrade. Applicants that receive
ETS assistance can expect to have a limited amount of their
technical support paid for by NETLS. To learn more about this
year's TANG ETS grant, select one of the links above for the TANG
ETS Guidelines.
