More About TANG

TANG (Technical Assistance Negotiated Grant) is funded by the Library Services Technology Act through a grant from the Institute of Museum and Library Services.  The purpose of TANG is to provide public libraries with technical assistance.  Emergency Technical Assistance is a project that was developed to assist libraries without technical support or IT departments.

ETS can be used to pay for on-site repair or computer troubleshooting.  It is not the purpose of this grant to provide funds to purchase computers, monitors and printers as a means for an overall network upgrade.  Applicants that receive ETS assistance can expect to have a limited amount of their technical support paid for by NETLS.  To learn more about this year's TANG ETS grant, select one of the links above for the TANG ETS  Guidelines.

If you have questions regarding TANG ETS or any other TANG project, contact Jerry McCulley at 972-205-2569 or click here to send him an email.

This project is made possible by a grant from the Institute of Museum and Library Services through the Texas State Library and Archives Commission.
