About NETLS

The Northeast Texas Library System (NETLS) located in Garland, Texas, serves the public libraries in 33 counties in the northeast corner of the state.  This area contains over 3,000,000 people and covers 23,956 square miles.

The informational and cultural needs of the residents of this area are diverse, but cooperation helps NETLS members meet the challenge of bringing the best in library service to their own communities.

We envision a future of the Northeast Texas Library System where NETLS is a system that responds to member needs: offering customized, innovative programs, acting as a catalyst by providing and fostering leadership, and serving as an advocate for libraries.
