As budgets contract one of the most common questions is "Where can I get funds to …?"

For information on a variety of grant opportunities, check the TSLAC website's Funding for Libraries page.  As expected, the page features grant opportunities funded by TSLAC but also provides links to private and corporate grant projects.  Sources for building funds and digitization projects are also listed.

ALA members may be interested in the program grants to fund or reward their projects.  Other ALA grants and awards recognize achievement and innovation.  View the complete list of ALA Awards and Grants.

Many chain businesses authorize store managers to fund local projects, particularly if the business is listed as a sponsor of the project.

Some bookstores and restaurants regularly aid fund raisers by dedicating a portion of a day's sales to support the library.  Typically the business provides the library with signs or bookmarks to publicize the fundraising event and promote the business.
