Jerry’s experience in library information technology spans eight years as an automation system administrator, library automation consultant, and technical manager for a library automation vendor. He previously worked at Nicholson Memorial Library in Garland, Texas, where he was responsible for the automation system migration to Dynix, and was system administrator. Jerry went on to serve as vice-president / president-elect of the Dynix users group, CODI. He is a former NETLS Automation Committee member. He eventually accepted an offer to work for what was then Dynix, Inc. in Provo, Utah, where he managed customer support and data migration teams. Upon leaving Dynix Jerry continued his career in technology. He has a total of 24 years experience in software development, databases, hardware support, project management, computer networking, security, and IT asset management.
Jerry earned a Bachelor of Arts, Music, degree from the University of Texas at Dallas, and a Master of Science, Computer Science, degree from Texas A&M Commerce.
